HOW CAN YOU HELP?
"Poverty 24/6 is run entirely by volunteers who are dedicated to the mission of helping our neighbors. We can use the help of individuals and organizations to help in the ways outlined below. Please note that one hundred percent of every dollar goes directly supports those we serve."
Opportunities for parishes and organizations:
We encourage diocesan parishes to participate, as Bishop Kicanas considers Poverty 24/6 a diocesan-wide deaconate project in service to others. If you are a parish or organization interested in participating, there are several ways to participate. Please contact the offices of Poverty 24/6 or one of the trustees directly for details.

Poverty 24/6 has located a food distributor in Mexico who believes in its mission and has agreed to deliver more than two tons of beans and 40 crates of eggs a month. In addition, this distributor has obtained the commitment of other distributors to donate vegetables, sausages and other meats, among other food items to be delivered monthly to the various centers.
Poverty 24/6 simply covers the transportation costs, but all food has been donated. Your donations will help us to continue this donation of food items on an on-going basis. Remember that one hundred percent of every dollar goes directly in support of those we serve and all donations made to Poverty 24/6 are tax deductible.
